1. Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the level required by the European standard EN 301 549.

2. Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. We designed it with accessibility in mind: sufficient colour contrast for text, a visible focus indicator, text alternatives for meaningful images, native form labels, keyboard-operable pop-ups and accordions, and respect for the “reduce motion” setting of your device.

3. Known limitations

• On small screens, the main menu is shown in full instead of a collapsible menu, which adds scrolling before the content. We are working on it.
• Some images are still placeholders and will be replaced by photographs with text alternatives.
• Some small orange headings and decorative elements have lower contrast than recommended.
• Content hosted on third-party platforms (for example, LinkedIn or ORCID) is outside our control.

4. How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 23 September 2026 from a self-assessment of the website carried out by the team that built it, with automated checks and manual testing with keyboard and screen sizes from 390 px to 1440 px.
